Biography
Joseph Steven Bloodworth was born in Hawkinsville, Georgia in 1980. He attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration in 2002. While at Oglethorpe he was a member of the varsity baseball team as well as a Rikard Scholar in Business.
He then attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated in July 2005. While at Florida Coastal, he earned a book award in Products and Premises Liability and a Best Oral Argument award. He also was active in the Student Bar Association where he served as a Legislator.
Mr. Bloodworth passed the February 2006 Florida Bar Examination and accepted a position with Vernis & Bowling of the Florida Keys, P.A.
His principle areas of practice include insurance litigation, civil litigation, personal injury and family law.
